Dine in a A380 without taking off

Recently in the Taiwanese capital Taipei a novel restaurant opened which has caused a bit of interest around the world. Known as the A380 In Flight Kitchen the restaurant is themed as the giant Airbus A380. There is although a bit square, airline like seating for 84 people and people are served by waitresses dressed as flight attendants and serve their food on plastic trays.  People queue up to board with their boarding passes before the ‘flight’ and are welcomed aboard by the head steward before being show to their seats.

New years at Taipei 101

The 101 floor Taipei 101 is one of the tallest skyscrapers in the world and also one of the very few that is transformed into a countdown clock and fireworks display on new years eve. The skyscraper has 8 levels in an Asian pagoda style up to the top of the tower and its from these levels that the fireworks are attached that creat the spectaular display that you can see in the video above. Beautiful Taiwan

When you think of Taiwan you usually think of the huge manufacturing base the huge cities ,dense population and the home to the world’s current tallest building the Taipei 1001, but Taiwan is much more. This country has a rich heritage, friendly people and a beautiful landscape. The country has steep mountains, lush misty forests and huge cypress trees and some spectacular beaches.
